Be the Light Dance Company proudly offers a competitive dance team. We want to provide our students with the opportunity to take their dance and performance skills to the next level. Auditions for the 2025/2026 competition team will be held on 7/12/25 beginning at 5:00pm.
Competition Practice & Performance Entry Fees
Annual practice fees - $350
Solos - $185-$240 each
Duets - $95-$125 each
Trios - $95-$125 each
Groups - $70-90each
Performance entry fees outlined above are multiplied times 3-4 regional competitions for the year. Nationals are additional. Additional expenses include travel expenses, warmup outfits, and costumes. Details regarding these additional costs will be discussed prior to each competition registration. Competition fees are due 90 days prior to each performance.
*Dancers selected for our competition team are required to practice on Mondays, Tuesdays/Thursdays, and Fridays depending on level placement. Practices will also occur on some weekends. In addition to competition practice, dancers must be in enrolled in a minimum of two classes per week and consistently attend regular dance and technique classes.
